When Is The Lotto Draw?
SA Lotto is drawn on Wednesday and Saturday every week at 20h56 local South African time. The Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 draws take place immediately after the Lotto draw.
How to Play Lotto?
To play SA Lotto, you pick 6 numbers from 1 to 58. Seven numbers are then drawn; 6 main numbers and a Bonus ball. You also have the choice of playing Lotto 1 Plus and Lotto 2.
How Does Lotto Plus Work?
SA Lotto offers three games; Lotto, Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2. The two extra games give a player an additional chance to win. Lotto and Lotto Plus 1 can only be played together with the same lucky numbers. All you do is select the Lotto Plus 1 option on your ticket when you bet on the SA Lotto. To play Lotto Plus 2, you need to play both Lotto and Lotto Plus 1. Lotto Plus 2 works exactly the same way as Lotto and Lotto Plus 1 but it gives a player a third chance to win.
